Today we lost a truly unique one of a kind man
I can tell you first hand Eric Newton made a life changing impacted on my life.
He was a father a leader and a mentor for many.
I first met Eric at voodoo taco. being in a family who has owned and ran many restaurants, Eric and I seemed to be able to visit with me and get advice from me. Eric and I seemed to use food service as a conversation opener, then we dove into life's challenges ups and downs as we all have. Every time I saw him he always had someone new for me to meet. I am privileged and honored to have been considered a friend. Thank you Eric for teaching me so many things, there is not enough room to mention everything. Your time and effort in helping others has made Omaha a better place.
    Rest in peace my friend
