Mamma is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Cassie Mae Veland; her brother, Sam; her children, Jeffery, Cheri, Tony, Stevie, Rhonda, Dennis and Kathy Morris, grandchildren, Joshua Dummand and Stephen Brewer; great grandson, McKenszi Holley.

Services: Services will be held Wednesday Oct. 25, at 10:00 am in the Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, 113 N. 18 St. Omaha, Nebraska 68102.

Visitation: The family will receive friends, Tuesday, Oct. 24, from 7:00 to 9:00pm at the John A. Gentleman Mortuaries, 72nd Street Chapel, 1010 North 72 Street Omaha, Nebraska 68114.

He was a graduate of Creighton Prep, Creighton University and the Creighton School of Law. Patrick was a professor in the Creighton School of Law for 42 years.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara S. Green; children, Kevin P. Green, Christopher D. Green; step-children, Jessica (Jeff) Voelker, Seth (Denise) Perman, Ben Perlman, all of Omaha; grandchildren, Thomas Green and Grace Green of Lincoln, Alexis Perlman, Sarah Perlman, Anna Voelker, Rachel Voelker, Norah Perlman, Ruby Perlman; siblings, Mary Kay Green of Kansas City, Therese (Paul) Bigelow of Whidbuy Island, WA., Jane Alseth, John K. Born on July 31, 1925 and entered into eternal rest on August 27, 2017. Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Celestine M. Micheels; infant son, Duane Scott and parents, Edmund and Bertha. Survivors include, brothers,  Marv (Charlotte) Micheels and Jack (LaDonna) Micheels; children, David (Chris) Micheels, Debra Hovorka; grandchilden, Erin (Todd) Harding, Kyle (Suzi) Hovorka, Nicholas (Kate) Micheels, Patrick (Jessica) Micheels; great grandchildren, Isabela and Eva Hovorka, Taryn, Ian, Asa and Selah Harding, Nolan and Patrick Micheels; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; best friend, Bill Terry. He was a Veteran and served in the U.S. Navy and was a 57 year member of the Local #21, Ironworkers.

Wake Service: A Wake Service will be held Monday, October 9, 2017 at 7:00 P.M. in the John A. Gentleman Mortuaries, 72nd Street Chapel, 1010 North 72 Street Omaha, Nebraska 68114. Visitation begins at 6:00 P.M.

Memorials: Memorials are suggested to the School Sisters of St. Francis.

Daughter of Henry and Anna (Peitzmeier) Grosserhode was born in Dodge NE. One of seven children, brothers, Norbert, Cyril, Elmer; sisters, Ethel, Delia, and Jean. Survived by brothers, Cyril-Cy (Alda) and Elmer (Linda) Grosserhode. Sister completed her elementary education at Sacred Heart Academy, Olean NE in 1926. She entered the Community of School Sisters of St. Francis in Milwaukee WI. She attended St. Josephs High School and Alverno College in Milwaukee and DePaul University in Chicago. Her teaching positions spanned 42 years. She taught in Chicago, Skokie and Glenview, Il. as well as Slinger WI. Sister taught emotionally disturbed children at the Lorenz Institute in Eau Claire WI. In Nebraska she taught at Mary Our Queen in Omaha and Bergan Jr. High in Fremont. She spent four years taking care of her mother after which she served as Sacristan at Fr. Flanagan’s Boystown in Omaha. Sister retired to live at New Cassel where she remained active as a volunteer until August of 2015 when she returned to the Sacred Heart Convent in Milwaukee WI.
