Services:  Thank you, FATHER, for allowing our daughter, Christine, to have such a wonderful family of friends. Today we set the day for Christine's celebration.

 

The formal celebration of life and resting place ceremonies will be held on the 7th of June, 2017 at 1:30 pm at Lifegate Church on 156 West Dodge Road, Omaha NE. We are wearing pink for Christine. She loved her children that she took care of. Come celebrate Christine’s victory, HEAVEN BOUND!

The resting place service will commence at WestLawn Hillcrest Cemetery (53 and Center).  We will be having a meal after it is completed at the West Lawn Hill Crest cemetery guest building.

Christine wanted to give back to the children; instead of flowers we ask that you donate stuffed animals (Christine liked teddy bears). We are donating them throughout the community.

Visitation:  The viewing/brag on Christine night will be June 6, 2017 at 5-8 pm at the John A. Gentleman Pacific Street Chapel. Bring your stories, your happy times, and your best pictures.

Survived by daughter, Cora Lee; parents, Steven and Laurie Schonert; brother, John (Megan) Schonert; niece, Abigail; grandparents, Donald and Mary Schonert, Ronald Fowler, Sharon Fowler; many other loving family and friends; many loving pets, most loved Mr. Philly and Skip.

Loving wife and mother. Helen was an active member of Holy Name Catholic Church for 69 years.  Her countless hours of volunteer work earned her a place in the Holy Name Hall of Fame of 2016.  Preceded in death by husband, Mearl L. Smith; parents, Herman and Elsie Reestman; daughter, Joan Elizabeth Smith; brothers, William, Richard and Milton Reestman; sister, Mildred Alberry.  Surivived by sons, Paul Joseph and Larry Michael Smith; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Visitation with the family begins Thursday, after 5:00pm at the 72nd Street Chapel with a wake service at 7:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for donation to Ron’s favorite charities.

Preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Fleming; infant son, Benny; and his parents.
Survived by his children, Mary Pat (James) Krahling, Ted (Diane) Fleming, Jeff (Michele) Fleming, Ron (Tracy) Fleming and Barb Fleming-Rhine; 19 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, 1 sister; many nieces, nephews and good friends.
