Willie was born in Festus, MO to Wesley B. and Sarah J. Wilson. He served his country for 23 years in the Air Force. He also later retired from E-Systems/Raytheon. Survived by wife, Alice Wilson; daughters: Donna (Bob) Olson, Darlene (David) Covich and Laura Wilson; grandchildren: Alex, Stephen, Tyler, Jonah, Rachel, Trevor and Lillian; sister, Darlene Hudson; as well as many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents and sister, Sandy Harborth.

Visitation Sunday, Oct 1, 2017 from 4-7PM at John A. Gentleman Mortuaries Bellevue Chapel. Memorial Service Monday at 10AM, also at the funeral home.  Inurnment at Omaha National Cemetery with military honors. Memorials to the Omaha Walking Club or Gross Catholic High School.

Survived by children: Kevin Ericson, Kristin (Gary) Ericson Manley, Jay (Sarah) Ericson and Lisa Ericson; grandchildren, Tyler and Skye Manley; brother, Duane Peterson; sister, Wanda Gustafson; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by husband, Dr. Louis Ericson; parents; siblings: Donald, Harlan, Warren, Adeline and Ruth Peterson and Shirley Schleining.

Memorial Visitation Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2017 from 5-7PM at John A. Gentleman Mortuaries Pacific Street Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Lutheran Family Services.
