Tony passed away December 29th, 2015 at the Josie Harper Hospice House in Omaha, NE surrounded by his family.
Tony was born March 13th 1948 in St Joseph, Missouri to Anthony L Felling, Sr and Laura M (Green) Felling, the youngest of their five children. Tony graduated from Christian Brothers High School in 1966, and retired from Burlington Northern Railroad with over 30 years service as an engineer.
Tony was known for his remarkable sense of humor. He showed the utmost patience throughout his life, and was a generous man who enjoyed cooking for and taking care of others. He was passionate about music as a songwriter and musician, appreciated Bob Dylan and John Lennon's music, and was a die-hard Kansas City Royals fan. Tony was most passionate about his children and grandchildren. There was never any doubt that he deeply loved them all.
Tony is survived by his loving daughters Nicole Felling, Jenna Felling, Bobbie Cruz, and Deede Dwyer; his stepchildren Melissa and Dan Hernandez, and his grandchildren Jackson Felling, Sophia Amato, Clara Greene, Wren Cruz, and Collin Dwyer; his brothers Eugene and James Felling and his sister Susan Conrad.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Marie O'Connor.
Services:
A memorial for Tony will be held on January 23rd, 2016 from 2pm-6pm at The Downtown Abbey 1202 Felix St. St Joseph, MO. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Josie Harper Hospice House in Omaha.
