AJ attended High School at Elkhorn North, but left early to attend Job Corps in Dennison, IA to finish high school and learn the electrical trade. AJ completed all of his high school requirements in less than four months, by six months his instructor called and said that keeping him there longer would be holding him back. AJ came home a couple of weeks ago enrolled himself at Metro Tech and was going to start classes in December to earn his associates degree. He wanted to earn his degree so that he could get his journeyman’s license a year early. AJ was a very smart and motivated kid in a big hurry to grow up, everybody that his life touched adored him. He will be missed.
