Andrew Brunner (April 2, 1984 - April 13, 2017) is survived by his parents, John and Marie-Laure Brunner of Bellevue, his three siblings, Peter Brunner (Nastia Rodionova), Jeffrey (Maria) Thouron, and Cassie Brunner, as well as many relatives and good friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Evelyn Brunner of Omaha and René and Denise Thouron of Paris.
Andrew grew up in Florence and attended North High, graduating in 2003. An employee of Baker's for more than fifteen years, Andrew worked his way up in the seafood department and into management, making countless friends along the way.
Andrew will be remembered as a very special person, who always helped the people around him and asked for very little in return because everyone mattered to him. He had a delightful personality consistently warm and caring, calm and kind, collected and humble, soft-spoken and generous. A close friend and long-time colleague described Andrew as "an amazing human being.” He helped his family build their home in Bellevue, along with the rest of his immediate family. Recently, he was helping another relative raise young children in the home they shared in Council Bluffs. He was an unassuming and unsung role model for those around him.
