Ann will be missed by her loved ones and the many friends made through quilting circles, church, duplicate bridge, and book clubs. Many of her friends have been for decades. This is a testament to Ann's engaging humor and caring.
Born On September 2, 1933. Ann recently celebrated her 90th birthday a few weeks before on October 1, 2023. Ann and Bill Taylor were married when they were 18 and remained married for 60 years until Bill's passing.
Ann (or Bubby, as she was known to her 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren) worked for the Ashland-Greenwood school district for 20 years. Ann was the school secretary, superintendent secretary, and the school board secretary. The grandchildren loved having their Bubby at school with them. Every year the granddaughters looked forward to Hurray for School. They got to pick out a new school outfit and have a sleepover.
Ann and Bill shared a long and full life. They traveled to many different countries to share the experiences these countries could offer. They lived in Omaha, Nebraska, Ashland,Nebraska, Conway, South Carolina, and Hot Springs, Arkansas. Fourth of July parties at Thomas Lakes in Ashland and the days of boating, water skiing, mud volleyball, swimming, and fishing are some of the fondest memories for family and friends.
Ann is survived by her children, Beth, Sue, Mike, and Mike Taylor and grandchildren and great grandchildren.
