Arlene M. Otterpohl

Arlene Otterpohl was born on October 25, 1941 to henry and Veronica (Thomas) Kuhlen, on the Kuhlen farm. She went to school at St. Joseph Catholic School in Platte Center, NE. She went to the convent after the 8th grade.

In 1960, she married Don Otterpohl. She moved to Omaha in 1981. She lived there until her death.

She is survived by 2 brothers and 2 sisters; Leon (Phyllis) Kuhlen, Dan (Linda) Kuhlen, Nancy Frauendorfer and Marilyn (Tom) McPhillips; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Veronica and Henry Kuhlen and brother-in-law, Don Frauendorfer.

Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at 11:15 am, at St. Cecilia Cathedral with interment in Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery. 

Visitation with the family one hour prior to the service. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family.
