Bernita “Nita” Jarosz was born in Petersburg Nebraska to Charles and Dorothy Preusser. She graduated high school in 1942 and later moved to Omaha where she worked at World Insurance and Kingan and Company. She married Zigmund “Zig” Jarosz at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Omaha on June 14, 1952. They had three children. Nita was a wonderful homemaker and talented seamstress. She volunteered at Boystown with Zig for several years. Nita became proficient at using the computer where she went to Mass daily, read books and played card and casino games, as well as keeping up with friends and family through emails.
She is survived by Ken (Jeanette) Jarosz of Omaha, Donna (Dave) Dvorak of Wymore, and Peggy (Kevin) Laverty of Parker Colorado. She will be missed by 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
