Beverlee Krasne, a beloved matriarch, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She was preceded in death by her parents, Toby and Harry Merriam, her brothers IJ and Max, her beloved husband Abe Krasne, and many cousins and dear friends.
Bev is survived by her sons Mark and Howard (Sharon), her daughter Terri, and Chris Martin Schweer (Barry), who was like a daughter to her. She also leaves behind her grandsons Seth and Adam (Kellini), and her great-granddaughters Estelle and Sutton.
In 1950, Bev married Abe and together they moved to Fremont, where they built their life and family. In 1968, Bev and Abe founded Abe Krasne Home Furnishings in downtown Fremont, a business that continues to thrive today. They were truly a remarkable team.
Bev was an avid golfer and a competitive bridge player, always striving for excellence in both. She was a fabulous cook and a gracious hostess, welcoming everyone she invited into her home. Nobody ever left her table hungry. Her brownies were legendary, a recipe that will never be duplicated as she left out a few key instructions on the recipe card.
Bev was the backbone of her family. She will be dearly missed.
May her memory be a blessing.
