Bilge was born in Istanbul,Turkey. She was named after a Mongolian Turk sultan who lived in the 15th century. She was raised by her mother who was a teacher and her father who was an architect. She attended a private American run board school and graduated with a high school degree. In 1962 She married Maurice Quinlan and moved to Omaha, NE. Maurice was a successful family practice physican, and they raised 3 sons. Each graduated from medical school and are practicing physicians. Later in life she converted to Catholicism and has been a devoted parishioner to St. Leo’s ever since. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Dr. Maurice Quinlan. Survived by her Sons Mark (Jennifer) Quinlan, Vincent (Claryce) Quinlan, Edward (Camille) Quinlan, and 10 grandchildren.
