Bobby G. Elks SMSgt USAF (Ret)

October 10, 1939 - August 1, 2021

Bobby was born in Grimesland, NC to Lawrence and Betty Elks. He served 27 years in the US Air Force and was stationed all over the world to include: Turkey, Germany, Thailand, Iran and Philippines. He then worked for the Omaha Postal Service for 25 years until retirement.

Survived by wife, Betty; children: Andrew (Mary) Elks, Janice Elks (Pete Bristol), Evonne Holbrook and Matthew (Amy) Elks; grandchildren: Samantha, Benjamin, Elizabeth, Peter, Lincoln, Jack, Zachary, Savannah, and Alex and Adam; great grandchildren: Boston, Camden and Mahoney; brother, Danny Elks. Preceded in death by parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister.

Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, August 7th at 11:00AM at St. Columbkille Catholic Church in Papillion. Visitation Friday at 6:00PM, followed by a Rosary at 7:00PM at John A. Gentleman Mortuaries Bellevue Chapel. Interment with military honors at St. John's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Disabled American Veterans or Femi's Heart Foundation.
