Carmen A. Jensen died February 12, 2016 at her home after a brief illness.
Carmen was born July 5, 1943 in Falls City, NE to Henry J. and Margaret Watton. Carmen graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Falls City and St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in Omaha. She retired from Midwest Allergy Clinic after a 35+ year career, then continued her passion for nursing in other areas until her death. Her love for family and friends was evident in her home and she welcomed everyone with open arms. More than anything, she loved her family and especially her grandchildren.
Carmen was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister. She is survived by her husband, Sam Jensen; children, Christine (John) Sennentz of Minneapolis, Andrea Mitteis of Omaha, and Eric (Stacia) Patton of Costa Rica; four grandchildren, Blair, Rachael and Aaron Mitteis and Zachary Sennentz; siblings, Bev (Robert) Sunderman of Hiawatha, KS, Ron (Sandy) Watton of Elkhorn, Roger (Barbara) Watton of Eagle, NE, Regina (Michael) Cox of Portland, OR, Geri Koehler of Omaha, and Mark (Diana) Watton of Wahoo; many nieces, nephews, and beloved family members and friends.
Private family services will be held. A celebration of Carmen’s life will be held Saturday, May 14, 2016 (details to be posted in early May).
