Chris E. Boughter

Chris E. Boughter, Lt. USN (Ret.)

September 11, 1939 – October 30, 2021

Chris was born in Williamsport, PA to Sterling and Bernadine Boughter. He joined the US Navy and shortly after married Judith Ann Miller. From that union came a son and a daughter. Chris proudly served in the Navy for 20 years and then continued his career at OPPD until retirement in 1999. Chris enjoyed reading, trout fishing, and spending time with his family.

Survived by wife of 62 years, Judy; daughter, Lisa Boughter Saporta; grandson, Daniel S. Boughter; brother, Richard S. (Berrie) Boughter; nieces and nephews; extended family, and friends. Preceded in death by son, Mark E. Boughter; son-in-law, Lawrence L. Saporta; parents.

Graveside Service Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at 11:00AM at Omaha National Cemetery.
