Chris was born on October 14, 1953, in Omaha, NE. She was a natural performer who brought her passion to the stage. During high school, she starred in lead roles in Hello, Dolly! and Mame, later going on to perform in the musical Hair in Chicago. Chris also found joy singing in various bands. While working as a nail technician, she raised her daughter, Lauren, with love and dedication.
Chris and her husband, Bill, shared 28 beautiful years of marriage, building a life filled with joy, music, creativity, and companionship. Later in life, she took up oil painting, inspired by her mother, Irene. Painting side by side, they created not just art but cherished memories.
Chris’s love of music, expressive voice, and warmth were gifts to everyone who knew her. Her spirit, art, and presence will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
Survived by husband, William “Bill” Bolmeier; daughter, Lauren Pascale (Luke Malone); stepdaughter, Anna (Jacob) Newell; grandchildren, Artie Malone, Harvey and Everett Newell; sisters, Mary Kay Glassman and Donna (David) Garcia.
