Curtis Siemers, 97, of Omaha, NE, passed away on February 19, 2024. He was born on July 25, 1926. Curtis served in the US Navy during World War 2. After his military service, he had a distinguished career in education, teaching at Omaha South High School, Dana College, Kearney State College, and Winona State University. He was a proud alumnus of Omaha South High School, the University of Omaha, and the University of Nebraska.
Curtis is survived by his daughter Sue (Tom) Nascak of Bloomington, MN, and son Tom Siemers of Jonesboro, AR. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Karen.
A private ceremony was held in his honor. He was laid to rest at the Omaha National Cemetery.
