Dave was born on July 26, 1938 in Elmira, NY to Gretchen (Singerhoff) and John Wipfler. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Dave was active in various Masonic Organizations in the Omaha area, volunteered at the Durham Museum for 25 years and was a member of the American Legion and Korean War Veterans Association. Dave is preceded in death by his parents, brother Jack (JoAnne)and great-grandson Oliver Weese. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Carolyn (Klingemann), sister Mary Jane(David) Carroll, his son John (Kim) and daughter Linda (Mark) Tonack as well as 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Dave was an avid fisherman, model railroader and enjoyed a good cigar.
