David Alan Smith

David was born April 29, 1953 in Cleghorn, Ia.

He lived in a nursing home for the last few years due to a stroke that left him unable to care for himself. He enjoyed joking around with people. Before his stroke, he enjoyed playing darts, pool, going to movies occasionally, watching movies at home and just hanging out with some of his loved ones. He has 3 brothers and 5 sisters. He married in 1979 and later divorced. 

He has one biological daughter, Misty(Eric Fischer) and her childhood best friend Christy Barker(Robert Ferdig), he considered a daughter as well. With that said he has 9 grandchildren, and 7 great grands. He is preceded in death with his parents, Clyde and Myrtle(Belew) Smith and a sister.
