In Memory of Donald Gray
Donald Gray, a husband, father, and member of the community, passed away on September 3, 2023, in Omaha, Nebraska, at the age of 89. He leaves behind a life well-lived.
Born on March 14, 1934, in Medford, Massachusetts, Don grew up in the close-knit community of Arlington, Massachusetts. His journey in life took him far from his birthplace, eventually leading him to call the Millard area of Omaha his home.
Don was a devoted husband to his loving wife, Debra, for an incredible 47 years. Their enduring bond was a testament to the strength of their love and commitment to one another. He was also a father to two boys from a previous marriage.
Don was a man of many talents and ambitions. He served in the military as a Lieutenant in the US Army and a Captain in the Army Reserve. He was the proud owner and operator of his own business, Industrial Coatings, in Omaha. Through his hard work and dedication, he built a successful enterprise that served the community for many years.
One of Don’s passions was his love for animals, and he showed this through his support for the Nebraska Humane Society. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorials be made to this organization in his honor, ensuring his legacy continues to make a positive impact on the lives of animals in need.
Don’s final resting place will be at Flower Hill Cemetery in Omaha, where he will be laid to rest on September 28th. His memory will forever be cherished by his family and friends.
Rest in peace, Donald Gray.
