Dr. Peter Duane Westenburg, Dvm

Beloved Veterinarian in Omaha, he started Mobile Animal Clinic in 1967 and later House Calls for Pets.

Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Stephen Westenburg; sister, Deanna McArtor; and former wife, Roberta Westenburg. He is survived by his partner, Kate Willer; sister, Carol (Bob) Frechin; sister-in-law, Barb Westenburg; sister-in-law, Joyce Christensen; children Martin (Sheyla) Westenburg, Kenneth (Michelle) Westenburg, Paul (Laura) Westenburg, David (Veronica) Westenburg; grandchildren Hannah, Andrew, Emily, Simeon, Jeremy, and Idalia; and a host of other loving family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Food Bank of the Heartland or the Salvation Army.

Memorial Gathering on Tuesday, August 15th, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at John A. Gentleman Mortuary, Pacific Street Chapel, 14151 Pacific Street with a prayer service at 7:00pm.
