Ed was an eternal optimist and accomplished many great things. He overcame the challenges of polio, inspired many to be their very best, and loved spending time with his wife, children, 25 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was an active father and grandfather, teaching them to waterski, fix anything, and create school projects. After a long career at Northern Natural Gas and as a Myers-Briggs consultant, he traveled and volunteered extensively. He was a past chairman of Catholic Charities, and was active at the Stephen Center, U.N. Hike for Refugees and St. Margaret Mary’s. In Ed’s typical generous manner, he donated his body to science. Preceded in death by wife Anne Caldwell Russell.
