Edward J. Ziegler

Of Papillion, Nebraska passed away August 5, while surrounded by his loving family. Ed served in the US Army and retired from the Veterans Administration Office of the Inspector General. During retirement, he enjoyed working at UNMC in the role of a standardized patient as well as volunteering in numerous positions within AARP.

He is survived by his loving wife, Karen; daughters and sons in law, Brenda Stroman (John) of Omaha and Patricia Jones (Donald) of Papillion; two grandchildren, Madison and Kaitlyn; brothers in law and sisters in law, Michael and Deborah Dehning and Ronald and Beverly Johnson, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.



Services:

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, August 21 at Golden Hills Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Bellevue, Nebraska at 2:30pm. Interment of the urn will be in Julesburg, Colorado.

Memorials may be made to the family.
