Emily Sue Anderson

Emily 84, of Omaha died peacefully in her home. She was born in Columbus NE and was the oldest daughter of Henry and Helen Ohlsen Jr. and survived by her younger and loving sister Sandra (Sandie Sutphen of Arizona). She is also survived by children: Kathy Asche (Dave), Randy Carey (Laura), Paul Pritchett, Chris Pritchett (Jacinda), Jody Pritchett (Renee) and many grand, great-grand and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son William Carey; daughter Linda Kruger-Smejkal.



Emily will lovingly be remembered for her positive spirit, competitiveness, love of sports, flower gardening, her laugh, love of animals and embracing all who came into her life as most who knew her called her Mom. She was an accomplished and avid bowler, loved going out to eat to socialize with family and friends, going on cruises, playing keno, going to the horse races, and cheering for Nebraska Volleyball.
