Eric was survived by his mother Marguerite (Marstelle) and his father Gary. Brothers Victor and Trevor. Grandmothers Kathy Robinson and Myrtle Niedbalski. His many aunts and uncles....Steve and Renee from Arizona, Craig from Omaha, Mike (George) from Omaha, Diane from Texas, Marlene and Brian from Omaha, Patty from Omaha, and Cheryl from Omaha. Many cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by Great grand mother Katherine (Meme), Grandfather George, Uncle Fred, Grandmother Anna and Grandfather Victor, Uncle Amos and Aunt Tish, and Uncle Vern and Aunt Martha.
Eric graduated from Bellevue East High School in 2011 with honors in ROTC and he lettered in Trap Shooting. His passions in life included fishing and spending time with his cat, Jessie. His favorite memories would have included being in Scouting troop 483 in Bellevue. He had an amazing time on his fishing trips with his dad, especially the one to Canada. Halloween was his holiday. He looked forward to dressing up and trying to scare every one. It would not be summer without following the Kansas City baseball team. If he could go to any baseball game, he was happy. They didn't have a bigger fan. We all know his love of animals. He enjoyed going to the Henry Dorley Zoo. Favorite gift?? The yearly pass to the zoo. (Thanks Jim and Jan) And lastly, he always reminisced about the 10 day tree stand ordeal with Victor. Will we ever know what all went on?
Eric had many interests, but none of them took the place of spending time with his family. The cherished gifts of time that we spent with Eric, can be what we hold close to our hearts, and help fill the hole that his departure left.
Please share any photos and memories that you have of Eric with the family.
They ask that you honor his love of animals by making your donations to the Town and Country Humane Society at 14110 S. 84th St, Papillion, NE. 68048 or the Nebraska Humane Society at 8929 Fort St.,Omaha, NE. 68134 in his name.
