Fred went home to be with his Lord on November 13, 2015 after suffering a stroke. He was born May 16, 1932 in Omaha, NE to San and Hattie Clements and was raised in Peru, NE. He met his future wife, Marilyn Hawxby, while in college and after they married on June 24, 1956, they moved to Dunlap, IA, where they both had teaching jobs. Fred eventually took a job at the Denison IA, Music Store where he was a partner selling pianos and keyboard instruments. He had a strong Christian faith, love of family and music, and many car and woodworking hobbies. Preceded in death by parents and brother, John. He is survived by his wife; children, Karen(Jim) Reinders, Tom (Lori) Clements; grandchildren, Jenna(Alex) Bishop, Jake Reinders, Daniel Clements, Leanne Clements; brothers, Dick (Joyce) and Art; many nieces, nephews, other caring family and friends

Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church, Omaha, NE. Private interment Elmwood Cemetery, Elmwood NE.
Visitation:
Friday, November 20, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the John A. Gentleman 72nd St. Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials to First United Methodist Church, Denison IA or St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church, Omaha.
