Lt. Col. USAF Ret. Frederick Arthur Bromley, 88, of Northfield Minnesota, passed away on January 19th, 2019 in Omaha Nebraska.
Fred was born in Westphalia Missouri to Fryn and Mary Bromley on August 8th, 1930. He attended Northfield High School. He graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelors of Arts in Mathematics.
He married Joanne Becker in June 1958 in Tokyo, Japan. He served 21 years as an Air Force Officer and served in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. Upon retirement, Fred moved to Northfield, Minnesota and became a business owner of Bromley’s Upholstery.
In 1995, Fred remarried Sandra Issenberg of Omaha. Fred is survived by his 3 children, Bud, Mark and Wendy and 3 stepdaughters, Joan, Barbara and Susan. Along with his numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family of Fred Bromley wishes to extend our sincere thanks to The Rose Blumkin Jewish Home, Temple Israel, Dr. Jeanne Thierfelder, Visiting Nurses Association, Matt Ebner and family, and Joan, Howard and Lisa Marcus.
Funeral and burial services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 23rd, 2019 at Temple Israel Cemetery with the Rabbi Berezin officiating. Memorials may be given to the Disabled American Veterans Charitable Trust
