Gene Cook

February 28, 1922 — September 8, 2016

Gene Cook was born near Auburn, NE, the 12th of 14 children born to Theo Fred and Ona Mirth Cook. He served in the Army during WWII and was a recipient of the Bronze Star. He was then a longtime employee of the Kellogg Company. Most imporant, family was everything to him and he will be deeply missed. He is survived by his wife of 74 years, Margaret Mollner Cook; daughter, Joan Cook Zimmern; granddaughters, Michelle Zimmern and Suzanne (Bill) Zents; 4 great grandchildren, Zachary, Zane, Zoe, and Zen Zents; many nieces and nephews.

Monday, Sept. 12, 2016 from 5-8PM with a Time of Remembrance at 7PM at John A. Gentleman Mortuaries 72nd St Chapel
