George was born in Lincoln, NE, but lived the majority of his life in Omaha, NE. He attended Omaha Technical High School. George was an amazing athlete, and his 1949-50 football team was inducted into the Nebraska High School Hall of Fame.
He married his high school sweetheart, Jane, and had five children. George worked at Vickers for many years. He coached all of his kids and even some of his grandchildren. After he retired from coaching, he would attend as many of his grandchildren’s events as possible.
He loved going to the horse races, casinos and Okoboji, but most of all he loved his wife and all of his family.
Survived by wife, Jane (Kohout) Sader; children, Linda (Don) Pearson, Wendy (Kenneth) Fix, Tracey (Jerry) Sweet, and Neely (Marc) Thomsen; daughter-in-law, Susie Sader; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Jerry (Melody) Kohout. Preceded in death by parents, George and Evelyn Sader; son, Chris Sader; sisters, Dolores and Geraldine.
Funeral Service Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at 10:0AM at John A. Gentleman Mortuaries Pacific Street Chapel. Visitation Tuesday 6:00-8:00PM, also at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Arbor Care Center – Valhaven in Valley, NE.
