Glenda E. Ferguson

FERGUSON, Glenda Ethel, Age 89, of Russellville, Ohio passed away Wednesday March 1st, 2017 in Omaha. She was born July 18th, 1927 in Relief, Kentucky, the daughter of Willie and Flozie (Conley) Fyffe. Glenda was the wife of a serviceman and she made homes in Kansas, Alabama, Alaska, and Virginia before finally settling on her beloved acreage in Russellville. She was baptized in Christ on October 28th, 1951 and remained a lifelong Christian. Prior to her move to Omaha she was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Georgetown, Ohio. Glenda loved music, singing, gardening, and passing the time in conversation with her friends and family.



In addition to her parents Glenda was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Parnell, daughter-in-law Patricia Anne, grandson Mark Andrew; and 11 siblings: Martha Mae Williams, Claude Earl, William Herald, Willis Burl, Pilate Marion, Ruby Susan Salyer, Charlie, Proctor Steve, Clarence Edward, Donna Lynn, Francis Louise Stegall, and Dorsey Lee.



Glenda is survived by her son Samuel (Michelle), grandsons Lowell (Nicole), John (Kalene), Alan (Kaila), & Paul Michael, granddaughter-in-law Amanda Jo Ferguson, 9 great grandchildren, and her siblings: Carl Elmer, and Sandra Gayle Blakley. Additionally, Glenda is survived by countless nieces, nephews, and extended family.
