Harold Robert Newbanks, Jr.

Harold Newbanks, Jr. is preceded in death by his parents, Harold Sr. and Betty Newbanks; sister, Linda Childers and brother-in-law, Michael Childers; and sister, Patricia Broyles.

He is survived by his daughter, Lisa (Dave) Wager, Chesapeake, VA, sister, Monica (Randy) Pingel, Dallas Center, IA; grandchildren, Joseph Wager, Josh Wager, Grace Wager, and Jonas Wager and many nieces,  nephews, and amazing friends.  

Harold enjoyed friendships that spanned decades and lived a life of many adventures, good times, and much laughter. Many of these memories are captured on the walls at Harold’s Bar.  Known for his good spirit and generosity, he was quick to make people feel welcome, forge new friendships and take care of anyone who needed help.  

Harold will be missed by so many.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at Harold’s Bar, 8558 Blondo Street, Omaha, NE on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 2pm.  

Private Inurnment at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
