Preceded in death by husband Kenneth; parents Thomas and Agnes Lorenc; sister Virginia Boler; and brother Dick Lorenc.
Harriet was born in Omaha Nebraska, the youngest of 3 children born to Thomas and Agnes Lorenc. She graduated from Mercy High School and went on to work at Northern Natural Gas Company for many years.
Harriet married Ken Lindauer in June of 1958; they were together for 34 years before Ken’s passing in 1992. Harriet and Ken were one of the founding families of St. James Parish where Harriet was a parish secretary for over 30 years.
Together, Harriet and Ken enjoyed traveling out to see family in Colorado during summers and having friends and family to the house for many fun gatherings. Harriet loved to play cards. Many a canasta game was played when family would come to the house. But Harriet’s most favorite game was playing Bridge with her dear sweet friends.
Harriet is survived by children Laura (DeeDee), Paul (Ann), Linda (Darrin) Cowley, 4 grandchildren; Noelle (Matt) Boehle, Luke (Alex) Lindauer, Abby and Jill Cowley, 2 great-grandchildren; McCoy and Wynn Boehle.
Mass of Christian Burial Monday, Dec. 12, 2022 at 10:30AM at St. James Catholic Church. Visitation Sunday 4-6PM, followed by a Wake Service at 6PM at John A. Gentleman Mortuaries Pacific Street Chapel. Interment: Calvary. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or St. James Catholic Church.
