Jack Dean Steinbeck, age 66, passed away on Dec. 28, 2020, with his family by his side at his home in Omaha, Nebraska after a long and valiant fight with pancreatic cancer.
Jack was born October 14, 1954 to parents Joe and Evelyn (Bentley) Steinbeck of Lewistown, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents, maternal grandparents, Bill and Katrina Bentley, and paternal grandparents John and Elsie Steinbeck. Jack is survived by five children; Jason (Ashley) Steinbeck and grandson Jonah, Jacklyn (Riley Jr.) Pryor and granddaughter Rilyn, Kristia (Tom) Haney and grandchildren Sophia and William, Jillian (Kevin) Woodworth and grandson Milo and Juliea (Tamren Cardwell) Steinbeck. Jack’s Chows, will miss him very much.
Jack loved spending time with his children. Some of his favorite pastimes were taking road trips with family, home improvement projects, and watching movies and reading books to his children.
The family will receive friends from 1:30-3:00 pm on Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021, at the Pacific Street Chapel with a Celebration of Life Service at 3pm.
