Jim is preceded in death by parents Noble K. and Mary Louise Wilmot, and sister Mary Lu Seaman.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Kathleen Wilmot; daughter Susan Wilmot Cortez (Pedro) of Dallas, TX, and daughter Kerri Wilmot Keleher (Michael) of Omaha, NE; grandchildren Kaitlin, Colin, and Cameron; brothers Robert K. Wilmot of Roanoke, TX and Keith A. Wilmot of San Antonio, TX; and several nieces and nephews.
Jim graduated from Central High School in 1959. He spent his entire career as a Civil Engineering Technician for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, retiring after 37 years of service. Jim was an avid softball player and an amazing girls fastpitch softball coach for many years. He was a devoted life-long member of First Christian Church in Omaha. Jim was also a Mason and a long-time member of the Shrine Greeters.
