Janet Marie Pelzl, born August 26, 1946 in Crookston, Minnesota to Aime and Jeanne (Derouin) LeBlanc, passed away from a courageous battle with cancer on February 7, 2022 at home in Omaha, Nebraska.
Preceded in death by her parents, brother Laurence “Larry” Leblanc, and sister Ruth (Leblanc) Kalenze. Survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, Charles Pelzl, son Michael (Jami) Pelzl of Kansas City, MO, daughter Kari (Stephen) Montgomery of Bellevue, NE, grandchildren Roland (Marissa), Logan, Wade, McKenna and Avery, sisters Karen (Max) Allard and Lisa (Sam) Svejkovsky of Grand Forks, ND and many cherished nieces, nephews and friends.
Janet treasured her family and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Grandma. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
Our family would like to thank Heritage OnCare Home Health & Hospice for their care of Janet.
A private Interment will be held at a later date at the Omaha National Cemetery.
