Jerry R Carlson

Jerry was an avid Husker fan who loved to travel, dance and golf. He was a US Navy Veteran and served in the Korean War. Jerry graduated from Peru State University and began his career teaching as well as coaching high school football in Iowa. His later careers included real estate and sales. Jerry was a member of his church for over 25 years.

Preceded in death by parents, Sixton and Violet Carlson; brother, Jarl Carlson.

Survived by his wife, Mary; children, Mike Carlson, Kathy (Charles) Stracuzzi, and Barb (O’Dell) Isaac; grandchildren, Matthew and Lauren Isaac; brother, Calvin (Donna) Carlson; nieces and nephews.



Services:

Funeral Service Wednesday, 11:00am at Presbyterian Church of the Cross, 1517 South 114th St, Omaha, NE.



Visitation:

Visitation with the family Tuesday 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the John A. Gentleman Pacific Street Chapel.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
