John D Horgan

Born in Tralee, County Kerry, Ireland, John immigrated to the United States in 1956. He met



and married his beloved Kathleen in New York City. He had a distinguished career at the



Federal Reserve Bank of New York. He had a great love for all sports, especially golf and



soccer. He dedicated his life to the family whom he loved unconditionally. His strong faith and



Irish smile will be remembered by all who knew him.



John is preceded in death by his wife Catherine (Kathleen). John is survived by his children:



sons John D. Horgan and James (Michele) Horgan; daughters Anne (Stephen) Raynor and



Claire (Dennis) Kirlin as well as his grandchildren: Jack, Tom, Mae, Nell, Joe, Colin, Farrell,



Daniel, Mary Cate, Grace, Will and Fiona; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.



Services:

Friday, August 5, 2016, 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Church, Omaha, NE. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Omaha.



Visitation:

Thursday, August 4, 2016 starting at 6:00 p.m. with Wake Service at 7:00 p.m. at the John A. Gentleman 72nd St. Chapel.
