John E. Leonovicz

January 19, 1931 — February 19, 2021

John was born in Omaha to Adam and Anna Leonovicz. He served in the US Army in the Korean War. He then made his career with AT&T Technologies. John was a loving husband, dad and grandpa and will be dearly missed.

Preceded in death by parents; brother, Don Leonovicz; sisters, Berniece Ostrand and Mary Jo Mallinson; sons in law, Gary Harnett and Roger Lindley. Survived by loving wife, Mary; children: Sheryl Harnett, Susan Lindley, David Leonovicz, Dennis Leonovicz and Mary Carol (Bob) Hall; 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; sister, Pat Edick.

Memorials suggested to the American Cancer Society-Nebraska or Alzheimer’s Association.
