Beloved husband and father, John died peacefully at Douglas County Health Center. Preceded in death by wife, Kathy; parents, Dr. Leo and Grace Hughes; sister, Trisha Hughes; mother and father-in-law, Kay and James Regan, Jr.; brothers-in-law, Steve Regan and Paul Jessen. Survived by daughter, Katie (Bruce) Buller; son, John Jr. (Chrisi) Hughes; grandchildren, Molly, Kate, Audrey and Wyatt; in-laws Dr. Jim and Mary Regan, Mary Jessen, Georgiann Regan, Anne and Craig McVeigh, Colleen Bryson; many nieces and nephews.

Wednesday, May 11, 2016, 10:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Church, Omaha, NE. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Omaha.



Visitation:

Tuesday, May 10, 2016, starting at 6:00 p.m. with Wake Service at 7:30 p.m. at the John A. Gentleman 72nd Street Chapel.
