John W. Thomas, Jr.

John “JT” was born in Watertown, NY to John W. Sr. and Marian Thomas. He proudly served in the US Air Force and retired as a Tech Sgt. after 21 years of service. He continued his career as a Civil Servant with the Air Force Weather Agency at Offutt AFB, NE as an Information Technology Asset Management Section Lead. He was a passionate fan and supporter of the KU Jayhawks and enjoyed attending games with his family.

He is preceded in death by his father. Survived by loving wife, Dana; son, Kyle Jon (Shannon) Thomas; granddaughters, Kamryn and Kenzie Thomas; step grandson, Anthony Blackburn; daughter, Kadiy D. Thomas (Corey Hejnal); and one more grandchild on the way; mother; sister, Debbi (Rick) Stone; nieces, Lacey and Layne; and two loyal dogs, Toby and Hawk.
