Jack grew up in Omaha, NE and was the youngest of 5. He attended St. Pius X and was a graduate of Creighton Prep. While majoring in Criminal Justice at the University of Nebraska at Omaha he played on the hockey team and was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha. During college he met the love of his life, Theresa.
After college, he started a family and began his career with the Omaha Fire Department. He was great at balancing them both and devoting his time, energy, and love to all. He coached countless hockey, baseball, and softball teams as his children grew up and volunteered with his church and schools. Jack worked hard to advance his career retiring as an Assistant Chief in 2007.
After retirement, he was able to enjoy traveling with Theresa and spending time with family and friends. He loved nothing more than being surrounded by family, watching them succeed, and making them laugh. Jack was always there to lend a hand to family, friends, and strangers alike. He was loyal, hard working, humble, and kind. Jack has created ripples of love that will continue on after his passing. Always loved, forever missed.
Jack was a family man who served God and his community his entire life.
