Joseph H Carter

Born in Elm Creek, NE and died peacefully at home in Omaha, NE. Preceded in death by parents, Joseph F. Carter and Margaret Yoder Carter. Survived by loving wife, Mary Knorr Carter; four sons, Fritz, J.F. (Becki), Michael (Kim), and Thomas; eight grandchildren, Catherine, Michael, John, Clark, Kenny, Patrick, Taylor, and Megan; one great grandchild, Henry; brothers and sister, Lee Carter from Ogden UT, Cecilia Rowe from Westerville OH, Greg Carter from Minnetonka MN. He was a member of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity at the University of Nebraska Lincoln, where he graduated in 1955 with a Bachelor degree in Business, and then graduated from the University of Nebraska Lincoln Law School in 1960. He was a practicing real estate attorney and developer for the Dial Companies for the past thirty five years in Omaha.

Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at 10:00 a.m., St. Margaret Mary Church, Omaha, NE. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Omaha.



Visitation:

Monday, June 22, 2015 starting at 5:00 p.m. with Wake Service at 7:00 p.m. at St. Margaret Mary Church. In lieu of flowers memorials to Heartland Services, Father Mukasa’s Educational Fund, and St. Margaret Mary’s Educational Fund.
