Joseph T. Huettner was born in Cornlea, NE, the first of thirteen children, and was raised on the family farm. He was an iron worker by trade and could fix just about anything. In 1959 he married Rose Marie Weiss and together they raised six children. He taught us kids by example the value of hard work, sacrifice, learning and service to others. We are grateful to dad who provided patient and loving care of mom for so many years. He loved Rose Marie deeply. Joe was a man of faith, family, friends and food. He will be missed, but we know he is now where he's always longed to be, with Jesus. Joe's last words of advice were these, "Follow Christ, He will lead you to everlasting life. He is the way".
