Joyce had a passion for music. She spent her life teaching music in the Council Bluffs, District 66, Omaha, and Millard Public Schools. Joyce was a music director at St. Stanislaus Catholic School. She was a beloved piano teacher to students of all ages and, most recently, played for Sunday services at Rejoice Lutheran Church in Omaha.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Edward J. Sadler.
Survived by her sons, John E. (Cassey) Sadler of Coweta, OK; Steve R. (Mary) Sadler of Omaha; and Ryan (Heather) Sadler of Omaha; brother, John (Lucille) Tornkvist of Missouri Valley, IA; sister, Ellen (Ralph) Hohneke of Honey Creek, IA.; nieces and nephews. SERVICES: Monday, Feb. 4, 2019, 10am at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church. Interment: Calhoun Cemetery in Missouri Valley, IA. VISITATION begns Sunday, Feb. 3, 2019 at 2pm at the Pacific Street Chapel, with a WAKE SERVICE at 4pm
