Judith Lee (Hutton) Bisig, a long-time resident of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2023, at Prairie Meadows Memory Care Center. She was 83 years old.

Judy was born on January 29, 1940, in Dayton, OH to Thomas and Gladys Hutton. She graduated from Creighton University Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in theology. She earns two additional degrees from Creighton, a Master’s in Theology and a Master’s in Guidance and Counseling. Using these degrees, she was able to become the Director of Guidance and Counseling at Daniel J Gross Catholic High School in Bellevue, NE and was also, a religion teacher at the high school. After retiring, she dedicated her time to Bible Study classes at St. Robert Bellarmine and taught bible study classes for the Archdiocese. She was also involved in Boys Town and was included in the ongoing process of recognizing Father Flanagan, the founder of Boys Town, as a saint.

Judy was preceded in death by her half-brother Eddie and half-sister Anna Mae. She is survived by her brother Tommy; her husband, Clifford; and her three children, Laura, Amy, and Michael. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren; Melissa, Junior, Kirstyn, Zoe, Edward, and Charlea; as well as one great-grandchild, Declan.

MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL Monday, 10:30 am at St Robert Bellarmine Church. A luncheon will follow in the Mainelli Center. Interment in Resurrection Catholic Cemetery. VISITATION with the family begins Sunday 2:00pm at the Pacific Street Chapel, with a WAKE service at 4:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Father Flannigan Foundation.
