Julie M Livingston

July 23, 1960 — May 19, 2016

Julie "Jules" Livingston (Barnes) died peacefully while surrounded by her immediate family in her home in Eagan, MN on May 19, 2016 at the age of 55.



Julie is survived by the love of her life, Kent E. Thayer; children: Jason (Alison) Livingston, Ben Livingston, Sr. and Bernadette Ui'ilani Riveira; grandchildren: Dominick, Ben Jr., Jaxson, and Madelyn; brothers: Fred "Rick", Roger (Mary Kay), and Joe Barnes (Kristy); sisters: Diane (Dick) West, Connie Barnes (Steve), Nancy Bock, Emily (Phil) Sauvageau, Betsy (Joe) Andersen, Ruthie (Dick) Wheeler, Mary Barnes-Cook (Jeff), and Christine Barnes (Matt); hundreds of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends. She is preceded in death by parents, Fred and Betty Lou Barnes; brothers, Steve and Eddie Barnes; brother-in-law, John Bock.



Julie was born July 23, 1960 in Omaha, Nebraska. She was the 10th of 14 children born to Fred and Betty Lou Barnes. She graduated from St. Cecilia Cathedral High School in 1978. For the past 20+ years, she made her home in Minnesota with her children, grandchildren and the love of her life - Kent, but Omaha, Nebraska was and always will be "home". Julie was a special, special soul who never met a stranger and who was loved by everyone she met. She never forgot a birthday and she was everyone's "favorite Aunt Julie". She will be missed by so many and will never be forgotten. The family would like to thank St Croix Hospice of Minnesota for taking care of Julie when the end came. The family will direct memorials. Inurnment at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. A memorial service will also take place in Minnesota at a later date.

Memorial Mass Monday, May 30, 2016 at 1:00PM at St. Cecilia Cathedral 701 N. 40th St, Omaha, Nebraska



Visitation:

Sunday, May 29, 2016 from 1:00-3:00PM at John A. Gentleman Mortuaries 72nd Street Chapel
