Preceded in death by his parents Gail Turner and Virdeen (Nelson) Koken; stepfather Ray Koken; sister Beverly Turner; infant son Larry Turner, Jr.; and grand dog Kyzyl.
Survived by his wife of 56 years Gloria (Engdahl)Turner; Children Michelle (Curt) Osmanski, Michael(Audrey) Turner, and Steven (Mandi) Turner; Siblings Linda (Ken) Bunnell and Judy Turner; Grandchildren Katie Osmanski, Matthew Osmanski, Amber Turner, and Anna Turner; and by many nieces and nephews.
Larry Linn Turner was born June 6, 1944, to Gail Turner and Virdeen (Nelson) Turner. He graduated from Benson High School in 1962. Following graduation, he served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Japan. When he completed his service, he returned to Omaha, Nebraska, and married Gloria Engdahl. They celebrated 56 years of marriage in March. Larry worked in the construction industry as a project superintendent for the majority of his career. His work took him to nearly every state in the United States, and Gloria was often able to travel with him. Larry and Gloria were blessed to make friends wherever their travels took them. Larry was an avid hunter and fisherman. After retirement, he was able to pursue his passion for gardening. He especially enjoyed sharing his fruits and vegetables with his friends and family
