Leeota Ruth Edwards Calentine

She was born to the late Glenwood Edwards and Ruth Vance Edwards in Pineola, NC. The family moved to Newport News, where Leeota graduated from High School and Keys IBM Institute.





Leeota is survived by her husband of 55 years, Bert E. Calentine and her children Tracy Calentine Clark and Bert M. (Jennie) Calentine. Two Granddaughters Tiffney Clark and Amber Clark McKinley; three Great Granddaughters; brothers, William (Bill) Edwards and Dale (Margie) Edwards.





Leeota was very active in the Red Hat Society being an Ambassador and Queen of her Local Chapter, The River Rubies.



She loved driving her 1976 Corvette with six bubble machines in all the local parades.
