Linda J. McAuley

Linda was born in Albany, NY on March 28, 1951.  After attending Hudson Valley Community College, Linda worked as a Dental Assistant, Pharmacy Tech and in Retail Fine Jewelry. Linda developed a passion for training dogs from a 4-H project, where she trained a puppy for Guiding Eyes for the Blind.  Linda would over the next 40+ years win numerous Obedience Competitions along the East Coast and Mid-West. Her biggest accomplishment was raising her son Jeff. Linda was predeceased by her father Harry Thomas Cooley, an infant brother. Linda is survived by her mother, Mildred Ziemian Cooley; husband of over 44 years, Bob; her son, Jeff and his wife, Kelli and 2 granddaughters she loved dearly, Emma and Allison. Linda also leaves behind siblings: Pamela Neary, Nancy Door, Timothy Cooley, Mary Jo Janis.

Funeral Service Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at 9:30AM with family receiving friends half hour prior at John A. Gentleman Mortuaries Pacific Street Chapel. Interment: Omaha National Cemetery.
