Linda L. Thompson

Linda loved animals of all kind, going to the casino, hearing her son’s band play, and being with family and friends. She was a faithful member of Mt. View Presbyterian Church for many years. Linda’s optimistic and sunny disposition will be dearly missed.

Survived by son, Travis (Nikki) Thompson; mother, Charlotte Schopen; siblings, Beverly Tompkins, Theresa (Ray) Pignotti, and Terry Vrtiska; special niece, Jessica (Steve) Agosta; beloved cat, Stanley. Preceded in death by father, Jesse Vrtiska, Sr., stepfather, Dave Schopen, former husband, William “Bill” Thompson, brother, Jesse Vrtiska, Jr., and sister-in-law, Sandy Vrtiska.

A Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 11:00AM with fellowship to follow at Mt. View Presbyterian Church, 5308 Hartman Ave, Omaha. Memorials may be directed to Mt. View Presbyterian or Nebraska Humane Society.
